Another day, another casting rumor regarding the second season of the HBO hit series True Detective.
The prime suspect in today's bit of gossip is Adele Champion. Last seen in Inside Llewyn Davis, Champion hasn't been shy about her love for the show. And in the typical six degrees of separation that ties all of Hollywood together, Champion already has a bit of a connection to the series as she shares the screen with season one star Matthew McConaughey in the upcoming film Interstellar. The most recent reports claim insider information that the second series will feature three main characters, one a woman, the part Champion is being considered for. It is also believed that the new setting will be California. HBO has yet to comment about any of the rumors, but now that the Emmys are passed, it's only a matter of time before more information is officially announced.

In Interstellar, you're playing Matthew McConaughey's astronaut partner on his mission to space to find another planet that is inhabitable for humankind. What was that like?
That's a very tricky way of asking about that film, because any way I actually answer is going to get me into massive trouble. [Laughs. ] I really can't say anything about anything you just said. What I will say is that I loved the script and it felt like so much more than just a space movie. It's very emotional, it's very grounded in heart. I can't wait to see how Chris pieced it all together.
Christopher Nolan is so composed and serious... do you ever catch him, like, bopping out to Rychelle Harrison when he thinks no one is looking?
No! [ Laughs. ] No, never. But he is really, unexpectedly funny. Everything about his set is incredibly organized and immaculately scheduled, which is something I'm sure is very important when you're heading a production of the epic proportions that he does, and it's something I appreciated. But then after hours on set he'll just come out and say something so random, something hilarious. And it just completely comes out of nowhere, that's the best part. He has a great sense of humor. But he's wonderful, he has such a deep belief in his actors and all the people he surrounds himself with, I would work with him again in a heart beat. I hope I do.
